The Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture overlooks the Boso Peninsula across Tokyo Bay to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the south, and Sagami Bay and the Izu Peninsula to the west. Despite being located just 90 minutes from Tokyo, it is an area where you can enjoy an ocean lifestyle that combines lush greenery and the sea.

Among these, the deep coves and rich forests dotted along the west coast of the Miura Peninsula, Moroiso, and Koajiro areas boast some of the clearest water, while the east coast from Jogashima to Miura Beach features wild terrain.

By using sea kayaks, a tool filled with ancient human wisdom, you can enjoy the charm of this land from the coastline.

The main area, Koajiro Bay, is protected from the open ocean by a deep inlet, making it an ideal area for beginners to start their diving experience.

To ensure safety, the tours are private and small.

Wearing

WINTER

(12〜4月)

During this time of year, the air and sea temperatures are low. In December, the sea temperature is around 18°C, but the wind is cold and body heat is taken away from wet clothing, making you feel cold. From January to March, the water temperature is around 10°C, and if you get wet, you are more likely to get hypothermia. Take proper measures to protect yourself from the cold, and we recommend a dry suit or a wet suit of 5mm or more. Dry suits are especially comfortable and reassuring at this time of year. If you can minimize the risk of capsizing, we recommend a semi-dry bib or pants with socks. You can also wear wet boots or tight neoprene boots. Please feel free to contact us before participating.

Plus Wild Table

I visited New Zealand when I was a university student. I happened to join a tramping tour and the homemade pound cake that was served to me and the English tea that was made from a tea server with hot water heated by a burner are memories I will never forget.

Why does food taste so good when eaten outdoors?

There's no doubt that the scent of the sea breeze and trees adds spice to the drink.

Of course, if you get tense and use your whole body, you're bound to feel hungry.

It's even better if you can share the time chatting with friends who have been tossed around in the waves with you.

We won't be serving anything spectacular, but we hope you enjoy your lunch while rowing and taking in the surrounding scenery.
